Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary

The lawyers at Williams & Singh are seeking a full time legal assistant with experience in criminal, family and real estate law.

The successful candidate will have a solid background managing files from start to finish with the ability to conduct themselves with the highest level professionalism in communications with clients, court staff and other law offices.

The candidate must be well organized and capable of working on multiple files, schedule client interviews and have experience working in the legal field.

The position involves drafting court documents including the preparation of outgoing correspondence, affidavits, memos, briefs and orders.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills while maintaining contact with clients, coordinating/communication with third-party service providers (e.g. courts, process servers, couriers, appraisal companies, etc.), maintain lawyer appointment calendar, photocopying, faxing and binding of documents.

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum

Law Clerk/ Legal Office Administration Diploma

3+ years of related experience
