Legal Assistant - Accident Benefits

The Hamilton office of Findlay Lawyers is hiring a full-time assistant for our accident benefits department. The position is demanding and fast—paced, and requires the ability to be flexible and think on your feet.

The right candidate will have graduated from an accredited community college in an Office Administration or similar program. Strong written and organizational skills are required, as is the ability to follow-up, be a self-starter, multitask, and maintain high attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work within a diverse team as well as independently. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are also required, as there is a significant amount of client contact in this position. Duties include liaising with clients and adjusters, handling paperwork and forms required for accident benefits claim, tracking limitations and other key dates, managing incoming mail and emails, drafting correspondence, scheduling, and other general office duties.

Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
