Courtrooms Re-Opening July 6th, 2020 - John Sopinka

 

Courtrooms 302, 304, 306, 308 will be open as in-person courtrooms with some remote appearances.

Courtrooms 206 and 208 will continue to operate as remote only guilty plea courts.

Courtroom 600 is opening as an in-person court in the Superior Court of Justice.

2020 Civil Sittings and Long Civil Trials

The Sittings for 2020 are as follows

  • January 13, 2020 – speak to January 6, 2020 @ 10
  • May 19, 2020 – speak to May 11, 2020 @ 10
  • September 14, 2020 – speak to August 31, 2020 @ 10
  • November 16, 2020 – speak to November 9, 2020 @ 10 

Note: Counsel are required to attend speak to court unless a **Consent for Trial Readiness Form is completed and signed by all parties.

  • March 23, 2020 - 3 weeks
  • October 5, 2020 - 3 weeks

2021 Civil Sittings and Long Civil Trials

The Sittings for 2021 are as follows

  • February 8th, 2021
  • May 10th, 2021
  • September 13, 2021
  • November 15, 2021
