Hooper Law is looking for a litigation associate with 2-5 years of experience for downtown Hamilton personal injury practice.

Our firm practices personal injury, sexual abuse and medical negligence litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines
• Manage and prepare litigation files
• Liaise with clients and professionals
• Drafting legal documents and correspondence as required
• Attend discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, and trials

Qualifications:

• Licensed Lawyer in good standing with LSO
• Minimum of 2- 5 years relevant work experience
• Understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure, Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule
• Proficiency in MS Office, and legal software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and attention to detail
