This position is to cover a maternity leave. It is suitable for an articling student, paralegal, or legal assistant. At this time, priority will be given to articling candidates but the position was previously occupied by a paralegal.

The role is in criminal defence with a sole practitioner. The position suits someone who is interested in running their own practice because the job involves everything from client intake to final billing, with administrative and legal work at all stages of the file.

This is an in-person position. The office is cloud-based and generally paperless. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and prepared to follow meticulously organized systems. Must be comfortable with MacOS and MS Office.
