    Peter J Dudzic Law Office - Legal Receptionist

    Full-Time Hours (with flexibility to Part-Time Hours)

     

    Peter J Dudzic Law Office is seeking an experienced Legal Receptionist. The available position is for Full-Time hours with the option to consider Part-Time hours. Our law firm’s primary focus is Real Estate Law and we prioritize the delivery of professional, personalized and quality legal services to our clients within a supportive environment. Our office is conveniently located on the Hamilton Mountain - across from Lime Ridge Mall.

     

    The successful candidate will assist with real estate and legal office transactions including purchases, sales, and mortgages. Candidates should have knowledge and experience with Teraview, LawyerDoneDeal, Quintalink, Unity, PC Law and Microsoft Word.

     

    Duties include:

    • Welcoming clients and visitors upon arrival; assisting clients with questions, observing corporate etiquette and confidentiality at all times;
    • Answering and screening calls in a professional and customer oriented manner; handling general inquiries;
    • Managing mail, faxes, deliveries, photocopying, ordering and replenishing office supplies;
    • Opening of files, filing and preparation of final reports;
    • Preparation of letters, documents and assisting staff with duties to ensure transactions are completed successfully.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Receptionist or comparable experience and skills.
    • Formal education in office administration, secretarial work or related training.
    • Committed, customer-oriented and professional conduct at all times.
    • Familiarity with real estate legal terms, legal documents, filing and billings.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Attention to detail, accuracy and checking work to minimize errors..
    • Ability to learn quickly, to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Ethical and possessing a strong commitment to maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Extensive experience working with various office procedures, best practices, and general operation of office equipment and processes.
